In this episode of RiseUp! we take a look at one of the founding principles of the YWCA - safe spaces and how to support them.
We start with the World YWCA’s own Suchi Gaur, in conversation with host, Chhavi Sachdev. Suchi lays out the 10 principles of making safe spaces. Chhavi continues the discussion with Clara DCosta, a youth leader and RiseUp! Young woman lead from Bangladesh. Towards the end we are joined by Nirmala Gurung from Nepal, working with World YWCA, who shares the lessons she learned from implementing the RiseUp! programme.
